Our chaplains offer spiritual care that respects whatever you believe—or don’t believe. They visit if you want someone to talk with about spiritual questions. They provide prayer or ritual that aligns with your tradition. They offer guidance on existential questions that come up. Chaplain services are completely optional and only happen if you want them. No denominational requirement—we serve people of all faiths and people with no religious affiliation.
Chaplains communicate with social workers when spiritual concerns intersect with family dynamics. They coordinate with nursing staff around end-of-life transitions where you’ve requested spiritual rituals or support.
Spiritual care happens, just request it.
Your intake nurse asks about spiritual care preferences. If you’re interested, the chaplain schedules a visit. They assess your spiritual needs and offer appropriate support. Visits continue based on whether you want them.
Spiritual questions often get bigger at end of life. Some people want structured religious support. Others want philosophical conversation without religious framing. Our chaplains provide both without pushing any belief system on you.
Hospice care is for patients with a serious illness whose treatment is focused on symptom management rather than cure, and who meet medical eligibility criteria as determined by a physician.
Yes, hospice care is commonly provided in the patient’s home when it is safe and appropriate, including private residences, assisted living, or other care settings.
Hospice services typically include nursing care, physician oversight, pain and symptom management, medications related to the hospice diagnosis, medical equipment, social work support, and access to on-call assistance.
Once eligibility is confirmed and the intake process is completed, hospice care can often begin within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the patient’s needs.
We provide guidance, education, and ongoing communication so caregivers understand what to expect, how care is managed, and who to contact when questions or changes arise.
